Airbrush Tanning = Fabulous!

I just wanted to share a few pictures of some celebrities that are, most likely, getting airbrush tanned. These are some perfect examples of what an airbrush tan will look like when skillfully applied.

The most common question i get is "Will I be orange?" and the answer is NO! There are all sorts of different solution brands and levels that we can pick from to make sure that we pick the right one for your natural skin tone.


Our introductory pricing period for airbrush tanning ended as of June 30. Our new pricing is $30 for full body, and a package of 5 full body sessions is $120. Still a great deal, if I can say so myself!

This photo of Monique on the red carpet has been making the rounds on the internet and in the tabloids. As a hair removal professional, I had to share it here with you guys!

Good for her for being confident enough to not care what other people think, I guess. But seriously Monique, please call me and I can take care of that hair before your next red carpet event! And I dont mean braiding it, I mean waxing it!

This is a trend that I really hope doesnt catch on ladies. NOT CUTE!!!

Winter Blah Blah Blahs......

It seemed that we were going to get by with a mild winter this year in Michigan. But, no such luck. It seems that we just cant escape the snow! and its driving me crazy! So, to help with my overall crabbiness, I have been spray tanning myself like crazy. So, even though I wont be taking any more vacations this season, at least I can look like I am!

I am also so excited that alot of teenagers have been coming in for spray tans. Today alone I sprayed 3 girls who are going to their Sadie Hawkins dance tonight. How cute! Back when I was in high school, I would lay in a tanning bed, causing damage that is really starting to catch up with me. How great that teenagers in this day and age have another option. Airbrush Tanning instead of tanning booths will save so many wrinkles and spots on these youngsters when they get older. So keep up the good work, moms and dads, by not letting your teen start that terrible habit!

Glycolic Acid Peels Are Your Skins New BFF!

Glycolic acid is such a wonderful ingredient. Weather you get professional, in-office peels, or just use cleansers and lotions at home that contain glycolic acid, it is amazing the results that one can achieve.

The best way I can explain what it does for your skin is this;
we all have layers of dead and damaged skin cells that accumulate on the surface of our skin. The more this dead skin accumulates, the more dull and lackluster the skin will appear. As we age, the skin cells do not turn over as fast as they once did. So we need to start encouraging the process ourselves.

Time to start bloggin' :)

Well here it is, the beginning of a new year, and a new decade. I am sitting in my office this morning and looking out the window at the first big snow of the season as I'm writing my first blog posting ever! There is a lot of pressure when writing a blog considering I have never considered myself a good writer. So hopefully I can share some good information with you in my future postings! :)

The purpose of this blog is mostly to keep updates on current specials that we will be running at Advanced Body Care, and to talk about new products and services that we are offering.

I am excited to announce that we now offer Airbrush Tanning! This is something that I have been passionate about for a while now. I have been doing airbrush tanning on myself and friends and family for about 8 years. So I have decided to expand this business to offer it here as well. I have an entire treatment room dedicated to Airbrush Tanning, and I am very proud of the setup that I have. Its extremely professional, unlike any airbrush tanning room that I have seen in this area.
